Leather is embroidered with a pattern of autumn hedgerow vegetation; a special knife is then used to cut the leather piece into straps ready for hand weaving. Slashing the perfect embroidery brings spontaneity, texture and deconstruction to the disassembled motifs. The leather straps are woven by hand in a tapestry method with the embroidered surface design reconstructed with interruption.
